KaiRise Learning Integrity & AI-Assisted Assessment Policy
1. Purpose
KaiRise is committed to creating meaningful learning experiences that develop knowledge, skills, judgment, and confidence. This Learning Integrity & AI-Assisted Assessment Policy explains how learners, instructors, organizations, and KaiRise share responsibility for maintaining the integrity of learning experiences delivered through KaiRise courses and the AskMe™ AI learning platform.
This Policy complements the KaiRise Terms of Service, Privacy Statement, and Acceptable Use Policy.
2. Our Educational Philosophy
Artificial intelligence should enhance learning—not replace it. AskMe was designed to function as an AI coach, instructor, and learning partner. Rather than simply supplying answers, AskMe is intended to:
- Encourage critical thinking
- Ask meaningful follow-up questions
- Reinforce key concepts
- Promote reflection
- Provide individualized coaching
- Identify knowledge gaps
- Help learners apply knowledge in realistic situations
Our goal is to help learners build durable understanding and professional judgment that extends beyond completing a course.
3. Learning Integrity Principles
KaiRise is guided by the following principles:
Learning Before Completion
Successfully completing a learning activity is valuable only when it reflects genuine engagement with the material.
AI Supports Human Learning
Artificial intelligence should support understanding, not replace independent thinking or professional judgment.
Honest Participation
Learners should complete activities using their own knowledge, experience, reasoning, and reflection.
Fair Assessment
Assessment results should accurately represent the learner's understanding and demonstrated capabilities.
Continuous Improvement
Learning is iterative. Coaching, feedback, and opportunities to improve are encouraged as part of the learning process.
4. Appropriate Use of AI During Learning
Learners are encouraged to use AskMe to:
- Explore concepts
- Ask questions
- Practice applying new knowledge
- Receive coaching and feedback
- Identify misunderstandings
- Prepare for workplace situations
- Improve communication and decision-making
AI coaching is intended to deepen understanding rather than provide shortcuts.
5. Learner Responsibilities
Learners are expected to:
- Participate honestly in learning activities
- Submit work that accurately reflects their own understanding unless collaboration is expressly permitted
- Thoughtfully consider AI-generated coaching rather than accepting responses uncritically
- Ask questions when clarification is needed
- Protect confidential organizational information
- Respect the learning experience of others
6. AI-Assisted Assessments
Certain courses and learning activities may use artificial intelligence to:
- Evaluate learner responses
- Provide formative feedback
- Recommend additional learning
- Summarize performance
- Identify strengths and opportunities for improvement
- Support instructor review
AI-generated evaluations are intended to support learning and may be supplemented by instructor review or organizational oversight depending on the course configuration.
7. Instructor Oversight
Depending on the course or organizational configuration, instructors, facilitators, coaches, or administrators may review learner submissions, AI conversations, assessment results, coaching summaries, participation history, and completion records.
Instructor review may be used to provide additional coaching, validate assessments, answer learner questions, ensure fairness, and support accreditation or certification requirements.
8. Assessment Integrity
Learners may not intentionally:
- Submit another person's work as their own
- Manipulate AI systems to obtain unfair assessment results
- Misrepresent participation or completion
- Falsify learning records
- Bypass required learning activities
- Interfere with another learner's assessment
Organizations may establish additional academic or workplace integrity requirements that apply to their learners.
9. Certification Integrity
Where courses lead to certificates or third-party credentials, KaiRise expects learners to complete required activities honestly. KaiRise reserves the right to:
- Investigate suspected misconduct
- Invalidate fraudulent assessment results
- Revoke certificates obtained through dishonesty or misuse of the Services
- Notify sponsoring organizations or accreditation bodies where appropriate and permitted by applicable agreements or law
10. AI Limitations
Artificial intelligence is a powerful educational tool, but it has limitations. Learners should understand that AI-generated responses:
- May occasionally contain factual errors
- May be incomplete or outdated
- Should not replace professional judgment
- May vary between sessions
- Should be evaluated critically before being relied upon
Developing the ability to evaluate AI-generated information is itself an important professional skill.
11. Organizational Learning
Organizations using AskMe may customize learning experiences using their own policies, procedures, and knowledge resources. Organizations are responsible for ensuring uploaded content is accurate and appropriately authorized, defining internal learning objectives, determining how learner performance is evaluated, and communicating any organization-specific assessment requirements.
KaiRise provides the platform; organizations determine how it is used within their own learning and governance frameworks.
12. Appeals and Questions
Learners who believe an assessment, AI-generated evaluation, or instructor review is inaccurate should first contact their instructor, facilitator, or sponsoring organization where applicable. For questions related to the operation of the KaiRise platform or AskMe, learners may contact KaiRise Support at info@kairise.com.
13. Continuous Improvement
KaiRise continually evaluates learner feedback, instructor experience, educational research, and advances in artificial intelligence to improve the quality, fairness, and effectiveness of our learning experiences. We may update coaching approaches, assessment methodologies, AI models, or instructional techniques as our platform evolves.
14. Our Commitment
KaiRise believes the future of learning is not about replacing instructors or learners with artificial intelligence. It is about combining the strengths of human expertise and responsible AI to create learning experiences that are more engaging, more personalized, and more effective than either could achieve alone.
We are committed to building AI that challenges learners to think, supports instructors in teaching, and helps organizations develop capable, confident professionals.
