AskMe Learning Activity Information

When you participate in an AskMe activity, we may collect:

3. Newsletter Enrollment

When you register for a KaiRise course or create an account, we may add your email address to our KaiRise newsletter. Our newsletters may include new courses, product updates, learning resources, industry insights, and events and webinars.

You may unsubscribe at any time using the unsubscribe link included in every marketing email or by contacting info@KaiRise.com.

Where required by applicable law, we will obtain your consent before sending marketing communications.

If you complete a course that earns an ICAgile certification, we will share your name and email address with ICAgile solely for certification issuance.

4. AI Transparency

AskMe uses artificial intelligence to simulate coaching conversations, provide personalized learning experiences, evaluate learner responses, and generate instructional feedback. AI-generated responses are produced automatically based on learner inputs, course content, learning objectives, instructor configuration, and organizational knowledge provided by customers.

Although we strive for accuracy, AI-generated responses may occasionally contain errors or incomplete information. They are intended to support learning and should not be considered legal, medical, financial, or other professional advice.

5. AI Conversation Data

Your interactions with AskMe become part of your learning record. Depending on the activity, this information may include conversation transcripts, learner responses, uploaded documents, AI-generated coaching, assessment results, reflection responses, and instructor feedback.

Please avoid including highly sensitive personal information unless specifically requested as part of the learning activity.

6. Instructor and Organizational Access

Depending on how the Service is configured, instructors, facilitators, coaches, administrators, or sponsoring organizations may have access to learner submissions, AI conversations, assessment results, completion status, AI-generated summaries, and aggregate learning analytics.

Some reports may anonymize learner identities where appropriate.

If your organization provides access to KaiRise or AskMe, that organization may control user accounts, enrollment, reporting, retention, and deletion of learner records in accordance with applicable agreements.

7. Your Consent

By registering for our Services, purchasing a course, participating in learning activities, or using AskMe, you consent to the collection and use of your information as described in this Privacy Statement.

If we wish to use your information for a purpose not described here, we will obtain additional consent where required by law.

These providers receive only the information necessary to perform services on our behalf and are contractually required to protect your information.

10. Automated Processing and Artificial Intelligence

KaiRise uses AI technologies to evaluate learner responses, generate personalized coaching, ask follow-up questions, provide recommendations, summarize learner progress, support instructor review, and generate learning analytics.

Some decisions or recommendations are produced automatically by AI systems. Where appropriate, instructors or administrators may review AI-generated results.

Unless explicitly stated otherwise in a customer agreement, learner information submitted through AskMe is used solely to provide educational services and is not intentionally used by KaiRise to train general-purpose AI models.

11. Learning Management System (LMS) Integrations

AskMe may be integrated with Learning Management Systems using standards such as LTI 1.3 and SCORM. When launched through an LMS, we may receive user identity and course information necessary to authenticate users, launch learning activities, record learner progress, return grades, and generate instructor reports.

The LMS provider's privacy practices remain governed by their own privacy policies.

12. Payments

Payments are processed directly through Stripe or PayPal. KaiRise does not store complete payment card information on our systems. Payment information is encrypted and processed according to PCI-DSS standards.

13. Data Retention

We retain information only as long as necessary to deliver purchased Services, maintain learner records, support certifications, meet accreditation requirements, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements.

Typical retention periods include:

• Certification records: up to seven years or longer where required
• AI conversation history: while the learner account remains active unless otherwise required by a customer agreement
• Marketing records: until you unsubscribe
• Financial records: as required by law

Uploaded documents may be deleted after the associated learning activity unless retained as part of the learner record.

14. Your Privacy Rights

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to:
